By contrast, private employers with a total of 69,813 employees, many of whom work for small businesses, ie: McDonald's, were granted waivers

The supposed ‘consensus’ on man-made global warming is facing an inconvenient challenge after the release of new temperature data showing the planet has not warmed for the past 15 years. The figures suggest that we could even be heading for a mini ice age to rival the 70-year temperature drop that saw frost fairs held on the Thames in the 17th Century.

The media's "global warming" label of climate change really pisses me off. The impact of greenhouse gases, etc, doesn't just make everything warmer and/or eliminate snow. The label only exists to simplify the concept, but the problem is that the concept is oversimplified. "Global warming" was never a thing. "Climate change", however, is the more accurate label. And anyone who disagrees with hard science and isn't familiar with hard science should have absolutely zero say in the matter. "It's cold, therefore global warming is a Communist conspiracy"?! What?!

Meh. How dumb does someone have to be to need to have the term "climate change" simplified? It suggests that the climate is changing. Pretty straightforward. And why did they chose the term "global warming" before changing their minds to "climate change". Did someone just flip a coin to chose between "global warming" and "global cooling". It's like saying someone had a heart attack when really they had a stroke because you don't think the listener is smart to understand when you say "he's in the hospital".

Besides climate change has been around a long time before people were. Not saying we aren't having an impact on, *ahem* "climate change" but if the government was so concerned about our impact on climate, maybe they shouldn't have put the kibosh on electric cars for example. Seems at least a little contradictory.
