"Mar 30 The New York Times reports New York Mets SS Jose Reyes (hamstring) could not participate in any workouts Monday. He also backed off any predictions that he would return before Opening Day after suffering three hamstring injuries in spring training. "
So you'll be waiting even longer for that nice 2b to show up beside his name. Sucks for me 'cuz now I have no SS for a few days on one of my squads, Nomar and Reyes, bah.

Thanks for the news. I guess I'm actually gonna have to rely on Alomar for a month or so.

Bluto: Over? Did you say over? NOTHING is over until WE decide it is! Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor? HELL, NO!
Otter: Germans?
Boon: Forget it, he's rolling.

Amazinz wrote:That article was a re-hash of old news. He's injured the hamstring 3 times in the last year not ST.

And he took batting practice Monday there was no plans for him to participate in the fundamentals fielding drill anyway. Howe and Reyes said it was iffy he'd play opening day a week ago. Status has not changed.
Yeah, I haven't been expecting him ready for opening day. Hopefully he'll be back the same week though.
