Battlefield 3

Battlefield 3 is being released shortly (Oct 25th!).

Not sure who likes shooters, but I think BF2 did a great job with their game. It's a lot more team based than many other shooters (unlike COD, where team matches always almost come down to which team has the best player).

Anyone as excited as I am about BF3??

I've been wanting to play BF3 since that immense E3 presentation.

I take it you've played the multiplayer beta? I've compared the PC, 360, and PS3 betas and this one is best appreciated on a high-end PC. A few nagging bugs aside, brilliant as advertised.

Unfortunately, I have not had a chance to play the beta.

I'm going to get in for the 360 as most of my friends have that console.

I'm the same way too. I buy most of my games for 360 because most of my friends have it. I have a PS3 too, for PS3 exclusives and games which look a tad better on PS3. I don't play PC games as often as much as I used to in college, but for a change and nostalgia's sake, I think I'll get BF3 on PC.
