ESPN - need to delete LM, any ideas?

ESPN Fantasy Baseball - league manager edition. 18 team H2H.
We're finishing our 4th year but the creator is not coming back next year. He has assigned LM powers to me to run the league.

I can't delete him as an owner and I can't delete his team - any ideas apart from adding a second owner ?

I was fooling about in a league that I have LM powers, but did not create the league and I could not find a way to do it. You might call ESPN and ask.

When I had to reassign a team in an ESPN league, I added a second owner (a dummy email address) until I could find a new owner. I then replaced the original owner with the new owner and deleted the second owner. It's not an entirely the same situation as I didn't have to delete a LM though. FWIW, I have found emails to ESPN to be really responsive.
