BABIP = Batting average on balls in play. Don't pay attention to the graph too much but instead look at his BABIP over the course of his career. His BABIP this season was a career high, which is most likely why his batting average was a career high as well. Look for him most likely to fall back to his career norms next season in terms of BA... which won't be bad since he's around .300 anyway.

Let's just say for the sake of argument that I was gunshy about letting Halladay go. If I feel pretty strongly about this 5:

Cabrera, Ellsbury, Prince, Pedroia, and Halladay

Then which player should be my 6th? Hanley? Cargo (only 1 more year vs. 2 more from other guys), Wright, Felix, A-Rod...

See if you can deal halladay for 3 picks and keep wright and hanley then focus on pitching in the draft.

I wish I could ... unfortunately, our league is rather rigid. Can't even do trades in offseason because it's Yahoo. Can keep 6 players year to year, and nobody can be out of the draft longer than 3 years.

Dare I keep ALL hitters and focus on SP in draft? I pick 12th, but I imagine I could snag two aces with picks 12 and 13. Which 6 hitters then?

Cabrera, Prince, Pedroia, Ellsbury, VMart and Hanley?
