Rosters lock tomorrow. Any keepers worth stashing?

Postby woodson_28 » Wed Sep 28, 2011 10:32 pm

10 team keeper league. Our league locks tomorrow and once that occurs players can no longer be added or dropped. Are any of the following players worth adding so I can hold them over the off-season?

Any FA I pick up would cost $4 to keep next year ($260 budget) and for +$3 each additional year. And I can keep 10 players max.

M. Reynolds
Kendrys Morales
J. Morneau
M. Prado

J. Jurrjens
J. Masterson

Nobody great, just a few injury risk players. Also, if anybody has the name of a few prospects that are expected to be up next season, or recently came up and might not be owned in a 10 team league, I'd like to know. Thanks.

I'm very leery of Morneau. Especially in that park. I like your pitchers as keepers.

In a 10 team league, it is possible these youngsters might be available and you should watch them closely next spring:

Trayvon Robinson OF Seattle
Julio Teheran P Atlanta
Lonnie Chisenhall 3B Cleveland
Wade Miley P Arizona
Jason Castro C Houston (Didn't play this year, but is expected to be back next spring)
Salvador Perez C KC (This kid's a stud!)

Thanks for helping mine. I like Jurrjens a lot. Is Hosmer available?

All of those are decent options at only $4.......it depends on your current roster.

Matt Moore is one prospect that comes to mind...

Help with mine?

1b Morales
3b Reynolds, Lawrie
SS Cozart
SP Teheran

Chisenhall value is a bit suspect.
