Who do you prefer as a keeper? Buster Posey or Joe Mauer?

I would keep Buster if I was you. Hopefully this past injury of his is a sort of one and done thing. with mauer he's chronically injured and with some seemingly serious injuries. didn't he have a collapsed lung or something? and others too?

I'd go with Posey, he had a freak injury, Mauer can't stay on the field for a variety of reasons.

posey, and it's not close. mauer has hit for power only one year in his entire career. the new minny ballpark is exacerbating that issue. and he can't stay healthy.

Mauer also has a much shorter shelf life as a catcher. I would not be surprised to see 2012 as his last season behind the plate.

That new part is killing the Twins. Posey's the pick here. IMO

I would say Posey but also depends on when you have to pick. Posey's injury was really bad and there is plenty of concern exactly where he will be next April. The longer you wait, the more information you can get about his progress. Right now it looks promising but until I see him actually play a game, I would be concerned. Saying that, it isn't like Mauer has shown much either this season but he is still very good and it is likely that the Twins will give him more at bats either at 1B or as DH to try and keep him healthy.
