I know a lot of guys on this site like him. I'm not sold. His ERA is high and his WHIP is through the roof. I guess if I look at my pitching roster and it's stacked but I'm looking for cheap way to get some wins (he should get plenty of run support in Phillie) and some K's maybe I take him--otherwise I'd stay away.

Low K/9 + terrible WHIP = Not a guy I want on my team
I'll let other people take the risk.

My advice is learn how to spell the name of the player you are asking about.
Brett Myers

in a deep league BM is a reliable source of win's and maybe k's ... dont expect much ERA / WHIP from this kid cause his stuff isn't that great yet

Though it's always nice to make these corrections, why is it people always hide behind the "guest" moniker when making wiseass comments? Be a man

Or a woman

Just don't be a guest if you're going to criticize someone. He may have got Myers name wrong but at least he knew his
Regarding Myers, I use to think he was better than he is. Guess I bought into the hype. Nice run support, but there are probably better options for your Top 4-5 SP's.

I was with you until the "yet." If you can find ONE great pitcher who has played a full and healthy season with a WHIP of 1.46 then I'll be surprised.
