Kolb...when the season starts all guys on the DL have a red "DL" near their names. But right now this isn't the case. I made up the term 'mystery DL' because Lieber does not have this red "DL" as BN described. Yet, he was DLed by managers.
So I am hoping to get slick and pick up Hairston. I just may grab him in the morning anyway.

yeah, I'm not able to put Larry Walker on the "mystery dl" either nor have I seen managers in any of my leagues use the "mystery dl" so I can't say I've had personal experience with it

In my public league, I just picked up Hairston to check on his status. He cant go on DL yet, so I dropped him a picked up Roberts. But the news is that he cant go on DL yet.
Is it because the season hasn't started for Harrison and Proir, but has for Leiber?
I am new to FB so I have a simple question. If my roster is full except for my 2 DL spots, can I just pick up a player, Leiber/Harrison, that is on the DL without having to drop someone off of my roster? Do they go right to my DL spot?

It's pretty simple. The yahoo DL activation is based on when the major league teams officially place thier players on the DL.
As players start going on the official major league DL's (like Lieber yesterday), Yahoo will let you move them to the league DL (I'm guessing a day later).
Prior, Hairston, Walker have not officially been placed on the DL by their respective teams yet in real life...hence, this is not reflected in Yahoo yet.

You can't pick up a guy and put him directly on the DL. You have to have an open roster spot for him, pick him up, put him on the DL, and then pick up somebody to replace him. I guess it's like a double switch in the NL maybe not, I dunno.
