Does the DL option show up with his name yet? I don't want to drop Nix for him yet if I can't DL Jerry.

couldn't you just check him out on your team?

it's been hypothocized in other threads that IR will be denoted once the rosters are finalized on Saturday night

He's not on my team, as I stated.

I figure Saturday will be the day for the designation of DL for him but I am antsy.

Look, Lieber was DLed today...but the "DL" is not near his name. Thus I want to know if Hairston has a mystery "DL", too.

Sheeesh! This is simple stuff. I know where to look up his name.

No. It is not. For Leiber, the red DL icon doesnt show up directly next to his name, but under the list of possible positions it shows the DL. But that list is only for people who have him on their team, so if he's on FA, there is no way to tell.

No. When you don't own a guy then you can't check on what I am asking about. In Yahoo, when you own a guy, you have a little window where you have the option to put a guy in either position where he is eligible, a Util spot, on the Bench or the DL. This DL option is not present yet but I see some guys are getting DLed. It just so happens Lieber is one and I assume it is because his team had to designate him.

So, a Hairston owner can check his status. But not a non-Hairston owner.
