Just wanted to get your thoughts on who should be my 8 keepers for next year - it is 12 team H2H. If you're on the fence about a few, please list them all as I only have to narrow it down to 12 players initially, with the final 8 being selected in Jan/Feb. We are also supposed to add another hitting spot next year, but it has not been determined if it will be OF/UTIL/C.
12 team keeper - H2H - 5x5 - Keep 8
C Molina (one of the bro's) 1B Trumbo 2B Cano SS Hardy 3B Wright CI ARam MI M. Young LF Braun CF Kemp RF Cruz OF D. Jennings UTIL Melky BN A Soriano BN Pagan
SP Hellickson SP C. Lewis SP Jimenez SP W Rodriguez SP Nolasco RP Santos RP Motte RP Frank Franc RP Peralta RP Parnell

As long as Wainwright has zero setbacks between now and naming time, he'd probably get the final spot. You could certainly go a diff route with the final selection but with those impressive bats already I thought a 2nd SP would be the way to go
1) Cano 2) Braun 3) Kemp 4) Wright, 3B 5) Cruz 6) M Young 7) Hellickson 8) Wainwright (if he has no setbacks) 9) Jennings 10) Turmbo
I can see where you would take Jennings over another player, he would be one to think about. My concern with Trumbo is don't know what is going shake because Morales coming back and Kendrick still there so where is Trumbo going to go or what is going to happen.
1) I think Ubaldo had one good half-year. His velocity is down and he's been crappy for a season and a half. Adios. 2) Hellickson - His FIP is over 4 and he doesn't strike anyone out. Beachy's K-rate is obscene. 3) Melky Cabrera - In my mind, he is your potential 11th-best offensive keeper. One-good-year syndrome. I'd rather keep a pitcher. 4) Chacin - His walks were way too high this year.
Thanks for your help on mine. My list looks like this:
2B Cano 3B Wright MI M. Young LF Braun CF Kemp SP Hellickson DL - Wainwright RF Cruz OF D. Jennings
I think Wainwright could be a steal next year...I listed 9 but as much as I love Cruz, I finally cut ties with him myself this year in my keeper league. Guy just can't stay on the field.
A-Rod is a little B*tch
