Its the last day of the first week of our playoffs (early, I know) and I have a big lead over a higher seed. Should I start everyone and try and build numbers in the 3 cats I'm losing, or do I bench a bunch of guys and protect the leads I have. Here's more details:
Scoreboard
R HR RBI SB AVG OBP K QS W SV ERA WHIP SCORE
#9 BALCO's Best 30 6 27 3 .3273 .4337 35 3 2 4 2.213 0.885 9-2-1
#3 Dopple Ganger 25 9 26 8 .2500 .3119 26 2 2 0 3.130 1.000 2-9-1
1. Clearly I will win AVG, OBP, SV, ERA, WHIP if I bench everyone.
2. I have small leads in R, RBI, K, QS. If these all go to him, then the score is 5-6-1 and he wins the week.
3a. I have Marcum starting today @HOU. That seems like a real good matchup. I could let him toss and maintain my leads in K, ERA, WHIP for sure (and maybe QS and W, too).
3b. I have Arroyo starting @STL too (16 team league and I stream SP). I could also drop him for another SP or just keep him benched.
4. I have good matchups with most of my sticks...Tulo doesnt hit well against Latos (in SD no less) but he's Tulo and the Rox kill it in SD (really: best team AVG in SD of all NL West teams).
My plan right now is to start all hitters and Marcum. AGREED??? Thanks in advance!!!
ESPN, h2h, 16 team, 3 RP max, daily roster changes. Cats: standard 5x5 plus OBP, QS. Non-keeper. I stream 1-3 SP weekly.
