okay im bored. Lets look forward to next season, first base continues to be very deep. An argument can be made to bypass that 1B run that always happens in round one, and concentrate on your more shallow positions. So, lets rank 1B for 2012, and get a good look at just how deep the 2012 offerings go .. Feel free to rank as many as you want. Top 10, top 20, top 30, top 40?? I'll average em out later .. thanks.
Adrian Gonzalez Albert Pujols Anthony Rizzo Billy Butler Brandon Belt Brett Wallace Carlos Lee Carlos Pena Eric Hosmer Freddie Freeman Gaby Sanchez Ike Davis Joey Votto Justin Morneau Justin Smoak Kendrys Morales Kyle Blanks Lance Berkman Lucas Duda Mark Teixeira Mark Trumbo Matt LaPorta Michael Morse Miguel Cabrera Mitch Moreland Paul Goldschmidt Paul Konerko Prince Fielder Ryan Howard Todd Helton
Also rans .. Adam Dunn Aubrey Huff Garrett Jones Jesus Guzman Michael Young Mike Carp Yonder Alonso Adam Lind Brandon Allen James Loney Daric Barton Derrek Lee

Title is sorta vague and could be interpreted in any number of ways. I picked Votto because, well, he's my guy (along with Hosmer) in my money keeper league.
C-Doumit, Lucroy 1B- Fielder 2B-Pedroia SS-Castro 3B-Longoria CI- Lawrie MI- H. Rameriz OF-Cargo Jennings Heyward U-Morneau Markakis Brown
SP-Price Greinke Zimmerman Moore Anderson RP-Nathan McGee Doolittle Grilli
sorry, but i intended for it to be vague. you can read it as number one overall, best value, whatever. im just trying to show the insane depth at the position ...

It's always deep. But that doesn't mean that you can wait at 1B.
