Chipper Jones/Bell? WHIR

Postby hockeykidb3 » Thu Aug 25, 2011 6:54 pm

Here are teh circumstances, the team with Bell is playing the team it will play in the playoffs in the first round, and would be lucky to beat them, right now with bell they are winning 5-2 in saves, and the team has marmol on the bench, if they get chipper jones, he would got to 3B mark reynolds goes to 1B and Carlos lee goes from first base to OF, and austin jackson grabs some bench, then the team can put marmol in the lineup, have as many closers as they had before in teh lineup, and get chipper jones over austin jackson, i am receiving bell to help while wilson is on the DL

Is this a fair trade?

This is one of those deals that makes sense for both sides though I'd rather have bell. I doubt he will get traded and if he does he'll be the closer whereever he goes even if there is an established closer *unless its somewhere like Atlanta where Kimbrel's on fire) etc he's one of the best in the league.
