Just tried looking it up and it looks like twice there have been 3 grand slams total (by both teams) in a game, and then today was the first time with 3 grand slams by one team.

nope, if he did he would also share the record for most rbi in a game, which he doesn't.

I think it was Fernando Tatis that hit two in the same inning.

Yeah it was Tatis. I think Jeff King hit 2 HR in the same inning but apparently not grand slams. I'm gonna have to look that up...

EDIT: OK so both of King's HR were solo shots. I remember hearing it happen when I was away on vacation. According to Baseball Reference it was August 8th, 1995.

i was there that night.
will never forget lol.
after chan ho park gave up the first one, the manager got ejected few plays later.
and the stupid bench coach didn't pull him when he loaded up the bases again.
