KEMP ON THE GO?

Postby moosehockey20 » Thu Aug 25, 2011 1:34 pm

Is this a fair trade???

Kemp/ beltre, jeter, montero, beltran

The team who is giving up kemp needs jeter so he can fill a SS spot, and he needs montero because hes a better catcher.

Non keeper league

you dont give up kemp to fill a slot or upgrade at catcher, beltre is hurt and beltran is just coming off an injury so who knows how he will do, the team with kemp is much better of filling the SS hole with a FA pickup for now

depends on the places of the team to see if a guy is unloading to a playoff team. I would NEVER trade kemp this year but he is getting an ok return I guess?

the team who is giving up kemp is the #3 seed in the playoffs..our first matchup is next week. HE NEEDS PLAYERS NOW. HE NEEDS A SS NOW. HE CANT GET A WW PLAYER IF HE WANTS TO CONTEND IN THE PLAYOFFS. this looks like a good deal to me

the best FA SS in our league is Alcides Escobar...jeter blows him away..This deal is so much more than jeter. He is getting so much for kemp. FAIR?!?

jeter beats him by 10 runs, 10 rbi 2 hr, the only major difference is avg, but escobar has not played the whole season as he started in teh minors, he still beats jeter in steals, no question i would rather have kemp with escobar than a minor upgrade of jeter over escobar

to answer your question, kemp is not going to be 'on the go' anytime soon
