What is fair value in trade for Peralta? WHIR

Postby JMills109 » Wed Aug 24, 2011 12:08 pm

J. Rollins now on the DL, and playoffs starting next week, two teams agreed on a trade that caused much uproar in our league.

Team 1 - In Contention
2012 11th Round Pick

Team 2 - Hopelessly out of it
Jhonny Peralta

Every team must keep 5 players, so 11th Round would be your 16th player. Offensive categories are standard 5 plus OPS and Hits. There is very, very little available on the wire.

Would you see this as a fair trade? Veto? What round pick would be fair?

Tougher leagues and even midling players values go up a bit and Peralta is not a world beater but can fill in nicely. I suppose to get something for nothing. Let it through. Especially since team getting Peralta needed a SS and that's the reasoning for the deal, pass it.
