Kimbrel has 39 saves and it's not September. And that's not all there is to say about him.
My pitching has been great this year 12H2H - Verlander, Gallardo, gio, bills (recently yuk), Romero (recently traded), Bum, DHudson and only in the 2nd JavyV (some bumps in the road) plus Kimbrel/League/Pap/Venters and now guerra 14roto - Lester, Hamels, price, Beckett, Romero and Garza with Kimbrel and Melancon (missed the closer runs) 24tm 3rd yr dynasty - Haren, Garza, Ervin, Buehrle and Holland with Bell/Nathan/Guerra/Melancon - yes I have 4 closers in a 24 tm league
Aside from Greinke's overall not being great, Shields imploding a bit now, Cueto missing a month, Zimmerman not striking anyone out, Kimbrel almost losing his job, Madson losing his job and getting hurt, Walden being shaky, Clippard and Venters just being good setup men, then yes, gold ALL year long.......
In my 12-team 6x6 roto, money keeper league, as of Aug. 24, i'm...
3rd in ERA (3.26) 2nd in Holds (41) 1st in K's (1140) 3rd in Saves (84) 2nd in Wins (74) 1st in WHIP (1.10)
By your statement, my team should suck ass. Those pitchers have been my primary horses all year long. If you look at their overall numbers on the season, then yes, they have been gold for me all year long.

Kimbrel is the most fun guy to own. He is the only player in the majors where if he pitched an inning, didn't give up a run, and only struck out 1 guy you'd wonder what went wrong.

Ya he's pretty good, he's pretty much Sergio Romo with worse command which is pretty sick.

His lousy command is the secret to his success, ala Carlos Marmol. I believe it's called, "effectively wild".

see. It was about a month ago i called you out for starting crappy pitchers so horrible, that Raffy wouldn't even put them in his lineup .. and that dude wil start anything ..
