Ubaldo dropped - use #1 Waiver? WHIR!

Postby jeffkoz12 » Mon Aug 22, 2011 11:21 am

A frustrated owner dropped Ubaldo after yesterday's disaster.
I'm looking to bolster my rotation for playoffs, so I'm thinking of swooping in. I would drop Worley or Vogelsong.

Should I use my #1 waiver position to grab Ubaldo? WHIR.

It's a tough call, but I would think you at least grab him and see how it goes...spot start possibly...on the flip side...Worley plays for a nice run supporting team, I would hold onto him.

I wouldn't trust Ubaldo at all. I would definitely prefer Vogelsong over him at this point. If you don't think Worley will keep up what he's been doing, you could make the switch but I don't think it would help all that much.

Ubaldo has been lousy the last few weeks.

If you do it I would drop Vogelsong. I wouldn't do it personally.

I've thought Ubaldo was going to have a bad year from day one. He slipped in my draft, and I still didn't take him. His first half last year was unreal, but his second half was so awful....

Keep your waiver. Worley is doing awesome, and Voglesong isn't worse than Ubaldo.
