Morrow's been handed a 4 run lead. Let's see how he handles this...

Ricky Nolasco worst three starts of 2011 (including tonight): 27.00 ERA. Other 23 starts: 2.89 ERA. No one melts down worse #DTM @fantasy411

take away those 3 starts and he's been pretty damn good.

who's fault is this? should the Marlins not have pulled Nolasco sooner?

Madison Bumgarner worst one start of 2011: 216 ERA. Other 25 starts: 3.02 ERA. (2.58 ERA if you take away his worst 3 starts, but I think you'd probably find a decent number of pitchers who have a sub 3 ERA if you take away their worst 3 starts.)

At least San Fran somehow managed to get Matt Cain a win. Scarily close to blowing a 7-1 lead in the 9th though.

I cut Mous about a month ago when my DL emptied in deepish league. I'm not surprised at all about him struggling this year. He strikes me as an aggressive hitter that will allow pitchers to expand the strike zone. He got away with that in AAA but now he needs to make an adjustment.

It's the magnitude of suck in Nolasco's worst three starts that is so amazing. 28 ER. Who does that? Who is so good for 23 starts, and allows 28 freaking runs in the other three? Not to mention the game he gave up 9 runs (5 earned). And it's not like you can pinpoint when it'll happen. One was against the Padres, and another against the Dodgers. Agaisnt maybe the lightest hitting division in baseball, he's given up at least 8 runs in a single game against four of the five teams!
