I do! I have he and Lester going today to try to keep me firmly slotted in the playoffs.
your confidence is enough to push me towards starting him.
When in doubt, I usually start my guy. In my mind, if he's good enough to be on my team, he's almost always good enough to start. My logic behind this is that a good start can positively influence 4 categories (ERA, WHIP, K, W), while a bad one can only negatively influence 2 (ERA, WHIP) and can occasionally get some Ks or even a W in rare situations. Also, i that league, my hitting is excellent and my pitching is not, so I have a lot of Karstens-esque pitchers on my roster.
with Parnell apparently making the transition to closer, what kind of value do you guys see Izzy having for the rest of the year? Not that Parnell has been all that great lately anyway...
Starting all 4 of Karstens, Lester, Myers and Sanchez today. I'm on pace to fall 100 IP below the innings limit and my ratios are already in the trash.
So the starts that I post in this thread are always relating to my main H2H Points League with a 10 start weekly limit -- and since it's become pretty apparent this year that whoever I start blows up, I decided to see how I've done...
