Auction draft ?

Hello,

I am in a NL only, 4x4, keeper league with an 8 man farm team.



In auction leagues it is conventional wisdom to wait towards the end of the draft to try to get a player a little cheaper. In my league this year quite a few upper end 1B are available: Thome, Bagwell, Lee, Sexson, Klesko, Nick Johnson, among others.

My question is......... Would it be in my best interest to follow tradition or maybe try to bring up Bagwell early, before any of the others have been takin in order to possibly get him at a discount? With Thome, Lee and Sexson atracting more interest in the off season other owners my save their money.

What do u think???
