Werth for Hart? WHIR!!

Postby baseballfan89 » Sun Aug 14, 2011 11:06 pm

Hey guys my trade deadlines in an hour just had a quick trade question.. Should i trade Corey Hart to get Jayson Werth....?

I know some of you would say no right away because of Werths awful year so far but in this trade i am getting an 11th round and 13th round pick and rounds 1-5 are keeper rounds so first round is round 6. And i dont have many early picks since i traded them but my picks look like this (Rounds: 8, 11, 12, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 19, 19, 20, 20, 21, 22, 23, 23)

So the trade looks something like this

Corey Hart
19th Round
19th Round

Getting Back:
Jayson Werth
11th Round
13th Round

- quick note my OFers are McCutchen, Hart, Alfonso Soriano, and Zobrist is OF eligible

What do you guys think? Please help my deadlines in less than an hour! WHIR!

It's not bad if u think the picks will help you out a lot long term. Werth has been meh but hart is pretty streaky himself.

Can you look at the latest post on my link and give me your updated thoughts? Deadline tonight too.

In my mind, Hart and Werth are pretty equal. Granted Hart is having a better season. The draft picks tip the scale in my opinion. I would do this trade if I were you.

I'm not a fan of Werth. i think he's overrated. But he and Hart are fairly close. I like Hart better but as stated the picks are a nice improvement for you.
Thanks for your help with mine.
