I currently have Hanley Ramirez wasting away on my DL, contributing nothing to my team like he has all season. I picked him in the first round, and really don't want anything to do with him anymore. Who should I target to trade for? Considering Hanley's crap season, who would I even be able to get for him? WHIR
Hanley's just having one off year. He's still a top 2 fantasy SS moving forward, and if I were in your league, I'd be calling you now to give you Bonifacio and Ogando for him (AKA, the flavor of the month).
I wouldn't trade him for anything less than he is normally worth. I have entertained the idea of trading him this season also. I would target a young SS like Castro. I was also looking at guys like Utley and Hamilton in the deal. He will rebound and you will kick yourself if you sell low now.
I can only keep three players and you sacrifice their draft spot for next years draft. At this point I am thinking about ditching Hanley and keeping players that I got good value on, like Granderson in round 10, and Freddie Freeman in round 18. So should I try and trade Hanley to someone who wants to keep him as their first round pick? Any help is appreciated, WHIR
Yeah I wouldn't deL Hanley for anything less than first round talent. A first round pick next year might do it if u can maybe get a ss bat as well for the time being.

This is some good info to mention right up front...ha ha. Yes, definitely take the value picks over Hanley in the 1st.....And definitely try to trade him for better value if you can

Castro and Bruce for Hanley is not a bad return, but I own him in my keeper league, too, and unless you can get first round value for him, the only thing to really do is hold him and hope that the real Hanley returns next season.
Trade him to a team that has 4-5 great value picks and can only keep 3. He should still net you a choice 3rd keeper if you find the right trading partner; don't sell low
Keep C Napoli 1 Butler/Davis/Hosmer/Dunn 2 Young/Utley/Zobrist 3 Moustakas SS Bonifacio/E Cabrera OF Grandy/Choo/Reddick/Kubel SP Anderson/C Lee/Oswalt Haren/Moore/A Sanchez RP Soriano/Myers/Johnson/Aceves/Parnell
