Veto Buehrle/Aybar

I am in a 10-team non keeper categories league and i just traded my SS Castro in a deal where I got my commissioner's SS Hanley Ramirez, now hanley is on the DL so I am looking for a temporary replacement for Hanley as he is now my only SS, I tried to trade Mark Buehrle for Aybar but my commissioner vetoed, while buehrle has QS in 17 of his last 18 starts, aybar got benched today bc he is in a slump, the commissioner's team is in 1st place and my team is in second place, Does this seem like cheating just to keep me from having someone to put in my SS position?
