Help Me Choose Please and TY

Postby notoriusbug » Sat Aug 13, 2011 8:21 am

14 team league, standard 5x5, keep 8

Finished 1st in year 1, finished 14th last year, and in 14th this year.

My 8 keepers are: Lincecum, Longoria, Texieria, Ellsbury, Stubbs, C.Santana, Harper, Ackley

I've been offered Pineida for my Santana....should I do this deal? I'd like to have 2 pitchers to keep, but I think Santana is going to be
a great player...his avg sucks this year, but I think he'll be a .270-.275 hitter in the coming years with 30 HR potential

I'm a huge no on this.

Santana's average might be wonky, but this is a patient, powerful hitter who's going to be a top 3-4 option at his position for a little window (3 or 4 depending on what you think of Posey v. Santana).

Pineda's a good arm, but there's a whole lot of good arms.

Scarcity.

I agree. I also don't think Ackley or Harper are worth keeping in an 8 player keeper league....If you don't have anyone else worth keeping, I would much rather have picks in rounds 7 and 8 if possible.

Help with mine?
