Crawford is only 96 points below his career OPS. Hardly the biggest bust EVER. Not even remotely close to the worst of the 2011 first round picks. Albert Pujols is 143 points below his career OPS. Hanley Ramirez is 154 below. A-Rod: 103. David Wright: 102 points. Evan Longoria: 80. All of those guys also missed significant time with injuries, and with the exception of A-Rod, should be in the midst of their prime. Crawford isn't living up to expectations, but neither are most of the other first rounders.
He's not just a speed guy, he was one of the best hitters in the league last year, stolen bases aside. Even still, the likely reason for the lack of steals is that he's been dealing with injuries all season including a month on the DL with hamstring issues. That kinda goes against the "non-injury related bust" label.

why are people calling Crawford a non-injury related bust when the reason you draft him is SB's? The reason you draft him in the first rd is that the rest of the stats should be very good. But he has been injured.

Eh, take away the steals and he's a .300/15HR guy, which is nowhere near 1st round value. No, you were drafting the 45+ SB that went with it.
I also dispute that his DL stint is relevant here. He was sucking well before he went on it.

The entire Red Sox team was sucking for the first month of the season. Then Crawford had OPS's of .803 and .761 in May and June before he got injured. and he's hitting again in august. The problem is the SB's.
