If you mean more than just this year, look at Robbie Alomar in 2002. He went from a perennial MVP candidate to journeyman. He had finished in the top 5 in MVP voting 2 of the previous 3 years and then, suddenly, he hit .266 with 5 homers and 12 sb. Just brutal.

Alomar got traded to the Mets, that should explain the huge decline in production.

One of my all time fav's - Adrian Beltre - goes from that 48 HR/.334 avg/121 RBI/104 Runs campaign to 19 HR/.255 avg/87 RBI/69 Runs. Poor Seattle fans. :-/

He was on the DL, sure. My point was that during the time he has been active, which is the vast majority of the season, he has been downright awful. I don't think he can play the injury card as an excuse for his overall poor production.

Sean Tracey has my apologies, we all know Ozzie Guillen is an idiot. I'm rooting for you!

Just traded for him, hoping he uses the last 6 weeks to make his season stats look better and carry my team to victory.

Andruw Jones by a landslide. Especially if you just want to look at the first season of the contract like we are with Crawford.

you'd be hard pressed to find anything worse than Adam Dunn.
