Hanley has only been slightly better, in about the same number of games, and he was a higher pick. Adam Dunn...well, Adam Dunn. Lower pick, sure, but the quantity of suck makes up for that.
who was the guy advocating taking crawford at #4 overall as the 1st outfielder off the board? that was pretty funny back in march, but its just downright hilarious right now. i bet hes losing in all his leagues that he was (un)lucky enough to land an early first round pick
Crawford has had health issues all year whether it be with his hamstring or elbow, so i'm not sure if you could call him a "non-injury related bust". He strained his hamstring right when he was starting to turn things around also. I also think his hamstring problem is sort of a lingering issue since he's been running a little lighter as a result, but he's starting to turn things around. FWIW he's been great so far in August, obp of .390.
Yeah i don't get it. Carl Crawford has missed a ton of time this season due to injury. Hard to produce like a 1st rounder when you have lingering injuries. He's a big time 2nd half guy. I'd expect his #'s to improve by seasons end, barring another injury.
C - Pierzynski 1b - Dunn 2b - Cano 3b - Beltre SS - Rotating OF - Bruce, De Aza, Cespedes Util - Encarnacion BN - Asdrubal, Adam Jones, Freddie Freeman
Rios and Werth are two guys who haven't been injured that are far underperforming their adp's, though Werth has 14 bombs which isn't all bad considering he's been flirting with .200 all year
