Choo will lead off and play right field Friday night in his first game back from the DL, according to Jordan Bastian of MLB.com.
Recommendation: Well, that answers that question about whether the team would throw Choo right back into the fire. The team could use him, too, with the Indians trying to keep up with the Tigers and with Michael Brantley working through a wrist problem and Kosuke Fukudome having just a .596 OPS since being acquired.
