I'm gonna be honest, I think you may have lost here. You got a slight edge in stolen bases, but steals are a category that is easy to come by without giving up value. Hardy is about equal to Cabrera right now, Cruz is a tick better than Jones, and Vogelsong is having a fantastic year and showing no signs of slowing down. That said, I wouldn't say you were ripped off, more like you marginally lost in terms of value. Help with mine? viewtopic.php?f=26&t=436291

I can see your point. But I'll tell you why I did it. Prior to this I had Kinsler/Howard/Stubbs/Cruz/Hardy/Montero. All low average and pretty in-consistent guys. I think Asdrubal is a lot better than Hardy. Higher average, Higher OBP, more RBI, same number of HR and more steals. He's a top 25 fantasy player this season and hits really well with RISP. I was skeptical to give up Cruz for Jones because like you said I trust Cruz more than Jones, but Jones has always had huge potential and now it's showing. He gives a little more speed(not much) but helps more with AVG and OBP. And Vogelsong really meant nothing to me. I have Verlander and CJ Wilson and there are plenty of other free agent pitchers out there who are just as good as Vogelsong. After the trade I went and picked up Vance Worley.

My philosophy has always been a potent and consistent offense is alot harder to build than starting pitching. Starting pitching is ALWAYS available and potent offensive players are not.
