I'm not a huge fan of Chris B. Young this year or in future years. Nothing personal, I just like other prospects better. That said, don't overpay for Bruce just to unload Young. Maybe hold tight and maybe not keep Young for next year?

Probably not, but you only have 2 keeper bats out of 6 it looks like?
I would try for a SP, although Reyes and Beltre on DL does hurt.
Look at your standings. Are you close to moving up in a catergory?
Can you trade from one you are well ahead in?
Can you move a closer for a sp?

If you can somehow swing this deal without giving up to much of a draft pick, I would be all over this.
