I'm in first place and losing this week since I have had been bitten by the injury bug. I'm starting to wonder if I should attempt to trade Chris Young or hold on tight and hope he turns it around by the end of the fantasy season? I'm a big fan of his and he has keeper value in my league so that is one of the things that is making me hesitant, but he is in a very big slump right now.
I was offered my Chris Young and a 3rd round pick for his Jay Bruce and a 19th round pick. I dont like this deal at all since I hate having to give up an early draft pick. But this team is out of contention so I am considering either making a move for an OF'er or SP. What do you guys think I could use more? Or does my team look good as is?

Stat Cats: R-HR-RBI-SB-K-TB-AVG-OBP IP-W-L-SV-BB-K-ERA-WHIP In parentheses are the rounds they can be kept in next season, everyone else wouldn't be keepable imo due to our league rules.
C- Mike Napoli 1B- Miguel Cabrera 2B- Dan Uggla 3B- David Wright SS- Yuniesky Betancourt OF- Chris Young (8th) OF- Matt Holliday OF- Drew Stubbs Util- Michael Morse (7th but could fall if he stops producing) DL - Jose Reyes DL - Adrian Beltre
SP- CC Sabathia Trevor Cahill (13th) Shaun Marcum Freddy Garcia Johnny Cueto (17th) Mike Minor (streaming) Bud Norris (13th) John Danks (13th) Brandon Beachy (19th) RP- Brian Wilson RP-Jose Valverde RP-Andrew Bailey
Let's say Chris Young is a 12th round pick next season and Jay Bruce is a 4th round pick...If you are getting a 4th rd and 19th rd for a 3rd rd and a 12th rd...I would say you are getting screwed royally. If I were you...I would definitely go after Bruce, but offer him Young and a 4th round pick for Bruce and a 15 round pick...IMO that would fair.
Let me know you thoughts and I will try to help you more...
Thanks for your help...I do have one question...based on my team (us keeping 4 players per year), do you think I should trade away Hanson and Zimmerman for Longoria?

Chris Young would be a 8th round pick next season. Do you think I need offense more or pitching though? I'm leaning towards thinking that I need pitching more.
Yeah I think you could definitely use someone else to complement CC...I think you give up too much for Bruce...
Young would be 8th round if you keep him correct? What happens if you dont? I dont think he would be selected in the 8th next season unless he shows more than he has lately...
what would be some options for upgrading pitching?
I say sit tight w/what you have... Bruce is plenty capable of his own slumps. I do think you should go after another starter, but I don't like either of those trades. Also... don't unload Morse just because he got hurt... dude has been a stud and you shouldn't give him away. Thnx for the help on mine.
Morse told MLB.com's Bill Ladson that he was diagnosed with a left elbow contusion after being hit by a pitch in Thursday's game. Spin: Morse doesn't believe the injury is serious, and he is listed as day-to-day. Morse may be held out of a couple games until his shoulder feels better, but it looks like he will avoid what could have been an extended absence.
