Jose Reyes was just pulled from the game in the second inning.
New York Mets shortstop Jose Reyes left Sunday's game against the Atlanta Braves in the bottom of the second inning with stiffness in his left hamstring. Reyes suffered a strain to his left hamstring last month which caused him to miss 15 days.
Reyes will have an MRI on Sunday at the Hospital for Special Surgery in Manhattan, according to the Mets.

So do y'all think I should try and trade him before the injury gets worse or should I hold on tight and hope that Reyes can get healthy and be valuable for me down the stretch. I'm in first place in my league so this injury really worries me, and if he is out for a significant amount of time and doesn't come back strong then that can really hurt my team.
Thanks for the help on mine. I would hold on; I think his injury is minor (I am watching the game), and any trade you make will discount him greatly.
Is it a HTH league? If a HTH league, hold on definitely if you are in first, as he will help in the Playoffs. If not HTH, I would still hold on, but not as strongly.
I agree with the other guys.. you've really no choice but to hold on to him unless you find somone who lives under a rock to trade with.. maybe one of those geico guys. Anyways.. I think this is going to be a problem the rest of the year assuming this is the same injury he just recovered from. But you won't get anything decent for his value right now and if he does come back full strength he's still A+ material. Smart move is to hold out.. as crappy as it seems.
I am in same boat. Stashing him to help in playoffs. DONT DROP HIM! Furcal is my traget for a stopgap. Not great, but serviceable. Any help with mine? Thanks.
I will at least provide devil's advocate here, since no one seems to want to.
Reyes is a free agent at the end of the year--do you think he wants to risk a potential mega-contract? This is his second hamstring problem in a short amount of time. The Mets have no shot at anything.
They've already decided to sit Ike Davis the rest of the year so he can fully recover. I can guarantee Alderson will at least be TEMPTED to go even slower with Reyes this time than last time. It could be worth it just to gauge what Jose is worth to people in your league. Obviously, if you don't think you're getting a fair return, roll the dice and hope that Reyes can give you a solid last 2-3 weeks for your season.
I think asking around at the very least is a wise move.
