5 Players Yahoo H2H keeper league. I have a 25% chance to make the playoffs so I'm thinking about next year.
Last week I decided on the following keepers: Cano, R Zimmerman, Hosmer, Lee, Hanson
However, I just traded Konerko (non keeper) for Crawford since I think Crawford will rebounce next year (similar to Granderson with the NYY). I think Crawford is actually a better keeper than Hosmer. Whom would you NOT keep out of these 6? WHIR - thanks. Cano, R Zimmerman, Hosmer, Lee, Hanson, Crawford
I am a HUGE Eric Hosmer fan, but since you just acquired Crawford, I think there is no doubt that you need to keep him and let Hosmer walk.
Another option is to look at Hanson down the stretch and offseason, as he has been very inconsistent. But still I think you will see that you will cut Hosmer off of your keepers

I tend to agree, HITTING over PITCHING 9 times out of 10.

What are the general thoughts about Crawford anyway?
Growing pains in Beantown, started out slow, weight on shoulders from the contract. He will easily right the ship......I just have a problem where he hits in that lineup, rather see him @ the top in front of A-Gon and Youk but it seems there is no room with Ellsbury and Pedroia there.
Keep Crawford. I agree, last spot comes down to Hosmer and Hanson - I lean towards Hosmer, but I am not yet convinced he is a 5th round pick at 1b; I am assuming there is no price tag to these keepers.

Thanks and no price tag. WHIR. I will definitely keep Crawford. My other options actually is V-Mart (but he might start to regress) besides Hosmer and Hanson.
I'm a huge Hosmer fan.. but if it's between hosmer and crawford you've got to keep crawford. With Boston's lineup he's going to be a big producer. I have no doubts he'll turn it around next year, if not the end of this year.
