I don't like any of those options over what you currently have.

None look like an upgrade but keep in mind Zimm probably only has a handfull of starts left before they shut him down. He'll probably get no starts for you in the playoffs unless they skip him alot and spread out those 4 starts

Really? Im just not sure how well Luebke will keep up. And I like Novas run support.

Any other opinions?

Thanks!

Nova isn't even guaranteed a spot in the rotation, so why take a chance on him.

I agree. Nova was only given that start so the Yanks could have their top 3 guys go against the Sox

I would look at Norris and Zimmermann (especially Zimm) and map out who the other guys are pitching against and who they are pitching against in the playoffs, rather than just picking out the best pitcher. When looking at a single game (week), look for quality matchups more than quality pitchers when you have a bunch that are relatively equal.

Just as an example (these are my playoffs, so yours may be a different week), I have James McDonald, and, in the three rounds of playoffs, he is scheduled for: @ hou, v. hou, v. fla, @ lad. I am not letting him go.

Bumgarner, by the way: v. cub, @ sd, and, in the finals, v. sd, @ col. Maybe that last outing is not good, but I'll decide based on what I need in that matchup at the time.

I don't know about the other pitchers you mentioned. I just mentioned those as pitchers on my radar.
