the tops
Julio Teheran, ATL (future stud, should be in Bravos rotation next season)
Matt Moore, TB (has been fantastic this year at every level, future stud)
Shelby Miller, STL (future ace, personal issues aside he's been great in AA)
Martin Perez, TEX (has been hit hard so far in AAA, but is still has the potential and makeup of a future ace.)
Kyle Gibson, MIN (just underwent TJ surgery, but looked good in AAA despite getting knocked around a bit)
Randall Delgado, ATL (future is unclear, but looks to be a serviceable pitcher)
Dellin Betances, NYY (strikeout rate is awesome, walk rate is not)
John Lamb, KC (has looked good in AA despite pedestrian strike out rate)
Manny Banuelos, NYY (he and Betances look to be a formidable duo in the Yankees future rotation, like Betances control might be an issue.)
Jarrod Parker, ARI (the surgery seemed to quiet his hype, but has had a great 2011. The D-Backs debated calling him up before deciding to go with Miley)
Casey Kelly, SD (has rebounded well from a down 2010, but still hasn't pitched above AA)
Jacob Turner, DET (has Rick Porcello like makeup, but still looks to be a serviceable starter)
Simon Castro, SD (got rocked in AAA, but still had a solid 1.6 bb/9 in 16 starts in AA)
Drew Pomeranz, COL (dude has been filthy everywhere he's pitched so far)
Jameson Taillon, PIT (future ace, but has a long way to go)
Alex Torres, TB (control seems to be an issue, but still puts up solid strikeout numbers)
Mike Montgomery, KC (rough year but still projects as a top of the rotation starter)
Trevor Bauer, ARI (moving through the D-Backs system fast, control seems to be the only speed-bump)
Zack Wheeler, NYM (might be a couple years away but has looked great since joining the Mets organization)
Tanner Scheppers, TEX (looks like he might not be more than a middle relief pitcher)
Jake Odorizzi, KC (seems to be the darkhorse of the Royals pitching prospects corps)
Tyler Skaggs, ARI (has been terrific for the Mobile Bears. Shouldn't be more than a year away depending how AAA hitting treats him)
Robbier Erlin, SD (has been lights out in San Antonio since coming over for Mike Adams)
Carlos Martinez, STL (like Taillon, looks like a future ace in the making but has a couple more years to go)
a few more
Liam Hendriks, MIN (looked decent in his big league debut, was great in AA)
Drew Hutchison, TOR (AA hitters can't seem to hit him)
Tom Milone, WAS (not much hype, but was fantastic in AAA, got rocked in his debut)
Chris Archer, TB (has been shaky so far, but still a very good prospect)
Wade Miley, ARI (pitching in Arizona now, was great in the minors and has looked good so far in the majors)
Rudy Owens, PIT (needs to learn how to get guys out)
