Pick up Brian McCann - drop who?

Near the bottom of the league in HR’s. At the top in SB’s. At, or near top in most pitching categories. Just dropped Brett Gardner for Freese. Brian McCann was dropped and I’m thinking of picking him up for the HR’s (will take a chance and pull the trigger while he’s still on the DL). Mauer will be eligible for 1B soon (adding to a 1B/3B logjam though).

Suggestions on who to drop?

Roster = 25 Total, w/3 Bench Slots (can be any position)
Trade Deadline has passed
Currently 2nd in Division & 3rd Overall
6 Teams make Playoffs, Division Leaders get a 1st Week bye
5 weeks left. 3 games out of 1st and 3.5 games ahead of 4th in my division. Not a lock, but pretty certain of a playoff spot.

Encarnacion has been pretty solid lately, but I'd drop him to get a stud like McCann. Not like he's going to see any time in your starting lineup except for the occasional Monday or Thursday limited schedule games.

Thanks guys! Edwin gets his walking papers. Was also thinking of Luebke, but as avsfan4ever33 pointed out, Encarnacion probably won't get off the bench that often anyway.

My 1st year in fantasy baseball and even though we have small benches I've been surprised by some of the drops. Other notable WW pickups on my roster; Mauer & Hamels.
