With the trade of Carlos Beltran, Lucas Duda has been freed.
He is a potential hulking beast.

2010 (AA/AAA combined) .304/.398/.569. He had a .296 ISO in AAA :-o (and it was NOT the PCL :-b )

July 2011: 61 at bats, 10 XBH, 10/7 BB/K, .344/.437/.607

This may be your last chance, last call etc........thank me later :-B

Hhmmm, interesting. Looks like someone you may be able to put in a lefty/righty platoon and slide in full time if he merits that type of production.

Yep, picked him up early in the week in my dynasty and nabbed him in Brushback yesterday. Would have taken him in the Cold Stove but... :-[ :-b

I actually did that about an hour ago. I don't know what Dunn's problem is, but its not like 10 homers and a .240 BA will be missed by me too much.

Dropped Dunn last week for a bag of peanuts. It was time.

i'm having a tough time deciding between him, Reddick, Carp, Jon Jay, Blanks and a few other guys. Duda seems like a solid pickup though, he should be getting regular at bats now.

He was brutal to watch in the early part of the season. I thought he was just plain bad, but they'd send him down and he'd rake, and they'd bring him back up and he'd occasionally hit a single. Since he's been getting more regular AB, though, we're seeing more and more of what his minor league numbers indicate and I like it. ;-D

I like Reddick the best out of those options.
