I dunno about "far superior". Is this a keeper league? You're running out Brett Wallace at 1B, and Gaby Sanchez would be a big upgrade.

The question is can you afford to lose the SP? McClellen is now going to work in the 7th and 8th inning; Hammel isn't a great SP option. Gaby is the real prize here and might be worth it alone if you can afford to be w/o the SP. Not really sure you can w/o seeing the standings.Curious why Izzy isn't starting for you, Bell may have his last save 4 you depending...

I think I can afford to. My line up has now taken a hit. CarGo and McCann on the Dl along with Chipper, Cozart and Rolen. And not to mention Bernadina getting sent back down to the minors. My offense is dropping.

There are no more decent playing 1B in the waiver wire. Especially in the a N.L. only league.
