Verlander/Ells? WHIR

Postby ABA316 » Thu Jul 28, 2011 9:13 pm

In a vacuum, which side you like better..I could use ERA/WHIP help but not sure I can do much with those numbers. Close to the lead in K's. I do need speed so not sure it's worth giving up Ells. Plus something about Verlander with all those innings worries me..

Verlander. I like Ellsbury but I am not sure he is this good. Verlander is possibly the best pitcher in the game. I wouldn't bet against him.

I would also stick with Verlander, unless your pitching staff can handle it and you are in a desperate need of steals.

What other pitchers do you have? If you have solid staff although verlander is great!! you may be able to fit your needs better with ells.

Could you not possibly package Romero and one of your OF'ers for him? Or even Greinke or Wilson?

well only info youre giving us is that you maybe need steals. i think youre better off making a minor deal or trying to find steals off waiver wires. doesnt make sense to me to make blockbuster deal if you need help in one category
please help with my team! WHIR!
