thanks again for the help guys. deal ended up being ells for tex+valverde. i also picked up J.P. Arencibia for Lucroy now that I have the extra BA/OPS padding and need the homers. Sure hope Ellsbury can stay his uncharacheristicly healthy self!

Any suggestions on who to add as a bench hitter? I'll probably go with a MI type so I can move Bonnie to 3B and Wiggy to my bench, but could go OF or 1B as well.

I like the trade for you. There will be somewhat of a power dropoff (we have to assume) but Ellsbury is filling up every single fantasy category and I like him over Tex the rest of the way. You could clearly afford to part with a closer so that's a non-issue.

As far as who to pick up, I don't really have an opinion. There are several reasonable MI type options available to you so it just comes down to preference. I'd probably grab the hottest bat on the list and play that guy at MI, then ditch him for another hot bat once he cools off. Those are all replacement level players.

thats a week WW. did u contact the other owner about zimmerman? as a owner myself i have been down on him this season. you may be able to get him cheaply if the owner has had enough. i belive hes in for a big bounce coming up tho hes ushually very good in the 2nd half
