I've been carrying around guys like Martin, Rios, Werth and Johnson, waiting for them to pick up and I've been waiting a LONG time. Should I continue to wait on them, some of them, or is it time to cut my losses and pick up some new guys?
C Russell Martin 1B Carlos Santana 2B Ian Kinsler 3B Daniel Murphy SS Emilio Bonifacio OF Álex Ríos, Ryan Braun, Jayson Werth Util Mike Stanton, Desmond Jennings BN Brett Gardner, Kelly Johnson, Adam Jones
SP Félix Hernández, CC Sabathia, Dan Haren, Gio Gonzalez, Wandy Rodriguez, Tommy Hanson RP José Valverde, Huston Street, Ryan Madson DL Erik Bedard
Make some moves. The obvious first move is to cut bait on Martin move Santana to C and grab Hosmer to play 1B. Id definately be starting Adam Jones in your OF over Rios or Werth. In fact Rios is sitting now so he can be axed and add Alvarez Thames or maybin. You are weak at 3B and I think Pedro is back up for good now and will provide needed pop.

Def drop Martin and move Santana into C and pick up Hosmer for 1B. Also, pick up Ackley for Rios.
Thanks everyone. I cut Rios and picked up Hosmer. Martin is on the bench for now. No one mentioned anything about Werth. Should I hang on to him? He's been playing a bit better as of late but still has been a big disappointment. Also, should I hang on to Bedard with him coming off an injury?

Looks much better. I think in the position you're in, it's worth it to hold on to Werth for another week or two to see if he can turn it around. It's not like there's an absolutely stunning choice on the wire to add over Werth.
I would however absolutely dump Martin. There's never a need to keep a backup catcher. I'd add Alvarez, Maybin, or maybe Ackley. It's up to you. I think out of the three, Alvarez could have the most impactful second half, but I think Maybin is probably the safest choice. Alvarez just has the higher ceiling for production, in my opinion.
Also...not starting Bedard tonight? Could come back to bite you in the arse. I'm thinking he has a nice start tonight.
(In reference to an Aaron Hill for David Price swap)
