Hosmer of course is a great option, but there are two other names on that list that I am a fan of.

I LOVE Jemile Weeks and what he can bring to the plate (steals, runs, average). Just look at what he did last night. I think that's the best Weeks can look, but imagine he plays like that 2-3 times a week.

Also, with Rasmus gone, I think Jon Jay has a lot to offer in that Cardinals lineup. It might be worth it to give him the first crack at it, because I think his ceiling (for THIS season) is the highest.

Long-term of course, I'd want Hosmer. But I'm really interested in seeing what Jon Jay does with Rasmus gone.

I agree with Jay. He played great last year when the cardinals had some injuries but got his spot hawked by Berkman. I do think that he really can excel and will do good hitting in that order.

As for Weeks I 100% agree and if the A's keep mashing (which I am sure they won't) he can have great value but his speed will help a lot
