Need some advice. Would you trade Jurrjens for Longoria and Lester.
Currently Reynolds is the only 3B eligible player on my roster.
Other SPs on my roster are King Felix, Lincecum, Gio Gonzalez,
Michael Pineda, Jeremy Hellickson,Bumgarner and Scott Baker.
My team is currently in 2nd place in an 8-team hth league. But only 1.5 games
seperates 2nd from 5th.
The trade would necessitate a need to drop either Reynolds or Boesch.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hmm. Single season league? If it was keeper it would be no doubt to take it. But in a single season that's tough. Lester alone CAN be as good as Jurrjens but maybe not right now, and Longoria hasn't been really on fire, but is still an upgrade over Reynolds IMO. I think you can do it and benefit, especially with the amount of SP you already have. You can afford to take a very slight downgrade from Jurrjens to Lester compared to the upgrade you would have with Longoria over Reynolds.

It is a keeper league, but none of the players involved would likely be used as my keepers because I picked up Granderson and Asdrubal off waivers early in the year and could use my 2 keepers on them in exchange for my last 2 round picks next year.
Rest of team is as follows:
C Vmart
1B Konerko
2B Uggla
SS Asdrubal
3B Reynolds
OF Granderson
OF Stanton
OF Young (ARZ)
UTL Hanley Ramirez
UTL Boesch
DL Cargo
Thanks for the feedback.

Even though Asdrubal is tearing it up, I would definitely keep Longoria over him in the off-season. This is a must-do trade either way though. Even if it doesn't help you this season (which it should), then you at least have them to pick from for keepers next season. Better options all around for you. This trade would be a win this year and a win in the future.
