JUST TRADED FOR LINCECUM IN KEEPER LEAGUE

Hey guys,

I am really struggling in my 10-team H2H 5x5 league. I am currently 4-10-1. I really don't have a shot at the playoffs. So, I am trying to put together a team that will compete next year. I just pulled a trade for Tim Lincecum, and I honestly feel like it was a great deal for me - but I'd like to see what you think.

I Trade: Justin Masterson, Heath Bell, Adam Jones
I Get: Tim Lincecum, Brandon League

The guy I traded with wants to win this year, and Jones will start for him in the outfield and he desperately needed a closer. For me, it wasn't too tough giving any of those guys up. I picked up both Masterson and Jones off waivers, and didn't plan on keeping either. I now have surefire keeper, top five starter in Lincecum.

That was a pretty darn good deal for you. A top 5 SP for two guys that came off the WW and a closer. Excellent job.

I've rarely seen a better executed trade. You got a great keeper for guys you picked up throughout the year. You struck at the perfect time, and were able to provide exactly what the other owner needed, and somehow pried Lincecum off him. Good move.
