Return to Draft, Trade, Keeper and Waivers Questions

I'm in 6th place in a 9-team keeper league and playing for next year. Trying to make some trades for draft picks or to upgrade my final keeper spot. The owner with Brian McCann is in 3rd place, so I was thinking of offering him McCann and Jurrjens for a high-round pick. Thinking that neither of those 2 guys are worth a spot as a keeper, so why not trade nothing for something.
Here's my squad and plans for keepers:
C Miguel Montero
1B Gaby Sanchez
2B Chase Utley (can't keep)
3B Danny Valencia
SS Starlin Castro
OF Jacoby Ellsbury (will keep)
OF Mike Stanton (will keep)
OF Andrew McCutchen (will keep)
Util Justin Upton (will keep)
Util Adam Lind (might keep)
BN Colby Rasmus
BN Adam Dunn
DL Adrian Beltre (will keep)
SP Jair Jurrjens
SP Daniel Hudson
SP Jeff Karstens
RP John Axford
RP Kevin Gregg
P Fernando Salas
P Ubaldo Jimenez (might keep)
P Max Scherzer
BN Michael Pineda (might keep)
BN Anibal Sanchez
Is Montero worth keeping in any league? I doubt it but I dont' want to trade this guy a potential keeper unless he pays accordingly! Any other comments on my potential keepers would be appreciated too.

From what I've seen of Montero, it seems if healthy he is right after the premier hitters at C (Mauer, VMart, McCann, Posey). This is the first year he's stayed healthy pretty much all season. He plays almost every day. When he gets hot he is a great asset to have. I'm certainly happy to have him in my dynasty league and keeper leagues. He's already played in more games this year than last. If he can finish the season strong he could be setting himself up for a breakout season in 2012, in my opinion. Though, most would argue this is his breakout season right now.

I'd probably stick with what you got. Montero is a borederline keeper, and I'm really REALLY high on Rasmus now that he is in Toronto. I would probably stay put, as I imagine Rasmus will turn the page and become a superstar in the league.

Peter: No, I'm just exhausted 'cause I've been up all night drinking.
