In me stay there.

I'm in first but have several teams closing in on me. Want to strengthen a few areas, my weaknesses according to the points standings are 2B, SP, RP (not in any particular order). I'm near the bottom in saves and rolling with Gallardo, Garza, Chacin, Beachy, A.Sanchez of late have brutal.

Want to get Greinke and Kimbrel from this guy, he recently sent me this offer:
I give: Longoria, Tulowitzki
I get: Greinke, Axford, J.Hardy

I denied it as I don't want to give up both Longoria and Tulo. What would you counter with to get Greinke and Kimbrel? Was thinking maybe: Longoria, Gallardo, and Marmol

Here is my team and league details:
Yahoo 10-team Weekly 15x15 points league(27-man roster - Start 1 each: C,1B,2B,3B,SS,IF,Util, 4-OF, 5-SP, and 2-RP lineups are weekly and NO DL spots):
1B-Konerko, M.Morse(OF)
2B-N.Walker(3B), D.Uggla
3B-Longoria, P.Sandoval(1B)
SS-Tulowitzki, J.Peralta(3B)
OF-A.McCutcheon, C.Quentin, M.Bourn, C.Granderson, Ad.Jones, E.Bonifacio(3B,SS)
SP-C.Kershaw, T.Hanson, Y.Gallardo, J.Chacin, A.Sanchez, M.Garza, B.Beachy, S.Baker
RP-C.Marmol, J.Hanrahan, D.Storen, B.Parnell

His team:
2B-I.Kinsler, B.Roberts
3B-C.Jones, R.Roberts(2B,OF)
SS-J.Reyes, R.Furcal, J.Hardy
OF-J.Ellsbury, J.Pierre, D.Young, J.Bay, C.Heisey
SP-J.Verlander, J.Shields, Z.Greinke, A.Ogando, J.Peavy, R.Oswalt, C.Zambrano, J.Lannan, C.Pavano, C.Volstad
RP-C.Kimbrel, H.Bell, J.Axford

If you only start two RP, I don't understand how you are weak at RP when you have Hanrahan and Storen. Maybe your points league really skews things, but they are #2 and #3 in ESPN's player rater for RP's. Even though Kimbrel is #1, I don't see how acquiring him would help you that much.

I would just focus on trying to trade for Greinke, but I also wouldn't want to give up Longoria to a guy who needs a 3B that bad. I would rather try to trade Sandoval or sell high with Morse since his 1B is also really weak.

I don't see your logic in this deal. Longo is clearly the best player and it almost seems you are giving him away for nothing. the 2 SP and CL's are not far off from each other value or stats wise. The gap between those 4 players is not wide enough for me to consider adding Longo into the mix. I'd try Peralta or maybe even Sandoval before anything else.

Longoria is banged up and I doubt that the type of injury he has will hinder him the ROS, that is my logic for trading him. Plus I still have Sandoval who is having a better year. The reason I'm near the bottom in saves is because of Marmol. I've been putting in the guys with the most games per week and that has more often than not come back to bite me in the ass. I'm sticking with Hanrahan and Storen until otherwise noted. Also I believe that Greinke will have a better 2nd half than Gallardo so that is my reasoning to try to upgrade there.

If this were your team what package would you put together with this guy to improve this team?
