I own one Ranger (Mitch Moreland), one Red Sox (Dustin Pedroia) and no Yankees. I've been in first place since week 2.

Not owning Chris Davis helps too. :-B

Only got 2 from the "big bad 3" with teix and colby lewis.
lastingsgriller wrote:speaking of kershaw, not to jinx him or anything, but is anyone ready to start talking of him as a rival to halladay?

he is really dominant.. and it seems that there is no smoke and mirrors or trickery, or even luck or a hot streak. he just appears to be a lot better than the hitters he faces. his control is exceptional. all of his pitches are exceptional.

I would say he has to be considered but I think Halladay gets the love because he's been so consistant for so many years. Kershaws cut down in walks has been great and I'm very glad I chose him over Lester when I was looking for a #2 behind Hamels :-L

Just in case there was any lingering doubt, Barry Zito does in fact suck.

wow and right on cue Zito gives up another bomb.
this time Mayberry left the yard right as I was typing.

Morrow looking craptastic as well.
Already given up 4 runs and isnt even out of the 3rd inning.
His own error didnt help matters any either.

Dunn goes deep off of Uncle Verly. Tough guy to break out of a slump against. Let's hope this turns things around...

Verlander is a bum. He served up a homer to Adam Dunn of all people. %-6 !+)
