Lincicum @ the Phillies?

Well, I am on pace to go well over the limit on innings......so it is time to start playing the match-up game wito ration my starting pitchers.

So, should I start Lincicum on the road against the Phillies?


And how about Cueto at home vs. the Mets?

Cueto against the Mets is a no brainer... he's looked fantastic, and I don't see any sign of him slowing down. Sure, his ERA against them sucks, but the dude is pitching 2.14 ERA at home and hasn't surrendered more than 3 runs in his last 10 games (which were both away FYI).

As for Lincecum, tougher call... he hasn't been as automatic as previous seasons, but he's also given up more than 1 R only once in his last 6 (and that was just 3). Given, his recent starts have kind of been puffs, but I think you have to role with your stud in this one. The biggest concern is Worley, and the fact that the Giants don't score much... I don't think you'll get the Win, but I think he's good for a 2.5ish ERA and 7-9ks.
